The 西萨克拉门托市 公共艺术清单 lists artworks significant to the community and in which the City played a significant role in implementing Public Sector funding on either a City, 县, 状态, 或国家级. The West Sacramento 公共艺术策略 概述了目标, objectives and implementation strategies to enhance and expand the public art program as administered by the 西萨克拉门托市’s 公园 & 娱乐 Department and the City’s Arts, Culture and Historic Preservation Commission. Public art is referenced in many adopted policy documents and the Council has established a commission to address public art issues in the City.

华盛顿地区 Public Art 实现 Plan (WDPAIP) defines a distinct art investment strategy to foster transit-oriented, pedestrian and bike-friendly development patterns. This Plan provides guidance the City will use to develop public artworks that highlight the Riverfront, 网关走廊, and transportation pathways and nodes. 华盛顿地区 Public Art 实现 Plan also provides material that will be included in the updated Washington Specific Plan, within chapters addressing circulation and parks.

This Plan is organized into three primary parts:

• Background (policy basis, summary of community outreach, and the existing inventory)

Many of the artworks proposed in the WDPAIP address the river connection, mark gateways or entryways, 活跃的地方, 装饰未来的公园遗址, and provide opportunities to celebrate the community’s history.
